Neat material appears to be absorbed directly through the
guinea pig skin with deaths from as low as 5 ml/kg.  Severe
delayed eschar formation was noted.

A 10% solution in water applied as a compress to guinea pig
skin produces severe damage and eschar.  No deaths were
produced at this concentration.
