Tests with terrestrial organisms are not available. According to rules for adaptation of the standard information requirements, column 2, tests on soil organisms are not needed if the hazard to the terrestrial compartment assessed using the equilibrium partitioning method is acceptable, which is based on the PNEC aqua (freshwater). Furthermore, due to the chemical properties of MPA (low volatility, the substance is readily biodegradable, the potential for adsorption is low), indirect exposure and long-term exposure of terrestrial organisms to the substance is considered to be low.
