Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The molecule contains no functional groups that could react with water under the OECD 111 test conditions pH 4-9 at 25°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance doesn’t contain functional groups which can react with water in the OECD 111 test conditions (pH 4-9, 25 °C). The present double bonds-C = C-or-N = N- only might react with strong acids (pH << 4) to give new structures. Therefore the structure of the DO39 molecule is not altered when reacts with water under these conditions and that goes to the conclusion that the Hydrolysis test as a function of pH does not apply.
