Additional information

In the non-GLP Klimisch 1 study from Bütfering (2013), the flamability of Butanedioic acid, sulfo-, 4-C12-14-alkyl esters, disodium salts was determined according to EU method A.10. The preliminary screening test showed propagation over a distance of 200 mm during 113 seconds. Therefore the full test was carried out. The burning rate test was performed six times and the shortest time to propagate burning for a 100 mm powder train was 52 seconds.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the definition in the Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008EEC Butanedioic acid, sulfo-, 4-C12-14-alkyl esters, disodium salts not considered as flammable.
