Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
If inhaled : If symptoms persist, call a physician.
In case of skin contact : Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off with soap and plenty of water.
In case of eye contact : Immediately flush eye(s) with plenty of water. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
If swallowed : If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media : Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide. Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Unsuitable extinguishing media : High volume water jet
Specific hazards during firefighting : Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.
Special protective equipment for firefighters : In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Further information : Standard procedure for chemical fires. Use water spray to cool unopened containers.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions : Use personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Methods for cleaning up : Soak up with inert absorbent material. Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Prevent contact with skin
Advice on protection against fire and explosion : Normal measures for preventive fire protection.
Requirements for storage areas and containers : Store in original container. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
Advice on common storage : No special restrictions on storage with other products.
Other data : Stable under recommended storage conditions.
