Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non explosive
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The decomposition energy of the test item 7-Aminocephalosporanic acid in the DSC method was < 500 J/g, therefore it was not necessary to conduct the main test.
The test item 7-Aminocephalosporanic acid has no explosive properties according to EC 440/2008, Part A, A.14.
Executive summary:

It is tested whether a test item has explosive properties according to EC 440/2008, Part A, A.14., with respect to thermal (flame; Koenen-Test) and mechanical (friction and impact) sensitivity.

Before the main test, a DSC-measurement in a closed glass crucible under nitrogen will be performed up to a temperature of at least 500 °C to determine the thermal stability of the test item. In case the exothermal decomposition energy is < 500 J/g, the main test does not need to be performed. The DSC-measurement was performed in study no. CSL-12-0645.01.
