Validity criteria for the measurement of the water solubility:

Target condition according to guideline OECD 105:Actual condition according to the study:Validity criteria met:
A substance-specific analytical method is preferred for these determinations, since small amounts of soluble impurities can cause large errors in the measured solubility. Examples of such methods are: gas or liquid chromatography, titration methods, photometric methods, voltametric methods. The test item was checked visually and no analytical method was used. The test was performed according to OECD TG 105 from 07/1995 - here not analytical measurement was demanded. Not applicable
The pH of each sample should be recorded. The pH for each sample is reported.Yes
The individual results from each of the three flasks, which should not differ by more than 15%, are averaged. The test item was miscible at any ratio. Not applicable.

Conclusions:
4-Methoxycyclohexanone was miscible with distilled water at 20°C at any ratio.
Executive summary:

The water solubility CS of the test item in distilled water was determined based on the "flask method" described in guideline 92/69/EEC, appendix A.6., OECD-guideline 105. The test item was stirred with distilled water at 20°C and checked visually. The miscibility of 4-Methoxycyclohexanone with distilled water has been tested at the ratios of 1:9; 3:7; 5:5; 7:3 and 9:1. Result of the solubility / miscibility tests: 4-Methoxycyclohexanone was miscible with distilled water at 20°C at any ratio.
