Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Relevant physical properties data are available, which can be used to estimate toxicokinetic behaviour in mammalian systems. The substance has a log Kow of 2.7, a vapour pressure of 248 hPa, low hydrolysis potential in aqueous media, and is chemically stable in biodegradation studies. These physicochemical properties are indicators that the substance would be rapidly absorbed into the blood during an inhalation exposure. The test substance would then be expected to distribute preferentially in lipid tissue or lipid components of tissues. The test substance would be expected to quickly leave the body via inhalation as unmetabolized test substance upon termination of the exposure.
