Three replicate experiments were performed.

Ignition of the sample was detected in all three experiments. The temperature of the oven at which the sample temperature reaches 400 °C by self-heating was considered to be the self-ignition temperature. The following temperatures were measured: 305.2, 306.1 and 306.1 °C.

Description of key information

The self-ignition temperature of the substance was found to be 306 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
306 °C

Additional information

The auto-ignition temperature of the substance was measured in a GLP study performed according to EU Method A.16. The test was performed in triplicate. All three samples ignited between 305.2 - 306.1 °C. The average temperature was 306 °C.
