Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One study investigating the ready biodegradability of Diisooctyl adipate (CAS 1330-86-5) is available. The GLP study was conducted according to OECD 301F under aerobic conditions using non-adapted activated sludge, from a STP which predominately treats domestic sewage, as inoculum. Based on oxygen consumption a mean degradation of 70.22% was observed after 28 days and the 10-day window was passed. Hence, the substance can determined to be readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
