Description of key information

Two QSAR models were applied to predict the Ready Biodegradability of 2,7,7-trimethyl-3-oxatricyclo[²,⁴]octane:

a) BIOWIN v4.10:This model predicted 2,7,7-trimethyl-3-oxatricyclo[²,⁴]octane as not readily biodegradable.

b) Toxtree v3.1.0: This model predicted 2,7,7-trimethyl-3-oxatricyclo[²,⁴]octane as Class 2: persistent chemical.

Combining these two results, the worst case scenario was selected as the final result and therefore based on this QSAR study, 2,7,7-trimethyl-3-oxatricyclo[²,⁴]octane was predicted as not readily biodegradable.
