Description of key information

Sediment simulation testing:
According to REACH Annex IX, 9.2.1.4, column 1, a test is only required for substances with a high potential for adsorption to sediment. Since the substance has a calculated Koc of 58.32 at 20 °C and a low octanol water partition coefficient (see IUCLID sections 5.4.1 and 4.7, respectively), it is expected to have a low potential for adsorption, and, therefore, no test is required.
Simulation testing on ultimate degradation in surface water was not conducted according to Section 3 of REACH Annex XI, Substance-tailored exposure driven testing; simulation testing on ultimate degradation in surface water, information requirement 9.2.1.2 in Annex IX, may be omitted based on the exposure scenarios developed in the Chemical Safety Report. Justification and documentation will be provided in Chapter 9 based on a thorough and rigorous exposure assessment in accordance with REACH section 0.5 of Annex I.
