Description of key information

A sediment toxicity study is not justified for Uronium hydrogen sulphate and its degradation products (urea and sulfates) for the following reasons:
- Sulfate ions are ubiquitous in the environment and will become part of the sulfur cycle and/or be assimilated by microorganisms ;
- Urea is rapidly broken down by soil and sediment bacteria and assimilated into the nitrogen cycle.
