Uronium hydrogen sulphate is not considered as harmful to the environment:

- Sulfate ions are ubiquitous in the environment. These are essential to all living organisms (flora and fauna) and their intracellular and extra-cellular concentrations are actively regulated ;

- Urea has been demonstrated to be of low toxicity in all species investigated.
