Additional information

Acutely harmful to fish and aquatic invertebrates. However, in a chronic study on Daphnia toxicity the NOECs reproduction and mortality were 3.6 mg/L.

With high probability acutely not harmful to algae, the ErC10 is 66mg/L.

The inhibition of the degradation activity of activated sludge is not anticipated when introduced in appropriate low concentrations.

No chronic data with fish are available. However, the LC50 in the available fish test is in the same range as in the acute toxicity test with Daphnia. Therefore, no adverse effects for chronic exposure < 1mg/L are expected.
