Explosiveness:
non explosive

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

This substance is void of any chemical structures commonly associated with explosive properties, such as metal peroxides, peroxo-acid-anions, azides, and halogen oxides. Further, it is noted that despite long-term industrial use of the substance, it is not classified for explosive properties according to UN transport regulations (in accordance with section 1 , Annex XI of regulation (EC) 1907/2006).

Therefore the substance does not have any properties which require classification as explosive according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
