Description of key information

As per read-across from EC 270-608-0 and EC 283-392-8, acute aquatic toxicity was determined under OECD 203 in two independent studies: anno 2005 in freshwater (rainbow trout, 96 h nominal LC50=4.5 mg/L) and anno 1986 in saltwater (sheepshead minnow, 96 h nominal LC50=46 mg/L).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water fish

Fresh water fish
Effect concentration:
4.5 mg/L

Marine water fish

Marine water fish
Effect concentration:
46 mg/L

Additional information

Read-across from other, structurally closely related ZDDPs is justified because of structural similarity and analogy of properties and effects.
