The toxicity of dibenzylether to fish was determined on Oryzias latipes, and a 14d-LC50 of 3.2 mg/L was obtained. A 21d-NOEC of 0.48 mg/L was received with the same species.
On aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna) a 48h-EC50 of 0.77 mg/L, and a 21d-NOEC of 0.098 mg/L were determined.
An algae assay with Pseudokirchnerella subcapitata obtained an EC50 of 4.1 mg/L, and a NOEC of 0.32 mg/L within 72h.
The toxicity on microorganisms was determined with activated sludge and resulted in an EC50 of 138 mg/L.
