Description of key information

3-methoxybutan-1-ol is considered to be readily biodegradable and reached 60% degradation within the 10 day window and 28 days of incubation.

Additional information

The study by IBACON (2009) is GLP compliant and follows a standard guideline therefore it is considered suitable for use for this endpoint. 3-methoxybutan-1-ol is shown to be readily biodegradable and it is not considered likely that it would be persistent in the environment.
