First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: The substance is only available in form of sprays. Aerosol
formation is possible. In the case of inhalation /indi-
position seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately by opened eyelids with plenty of water to
avoid discolouration of the eye-ball; if necessary, seek
medical advice from an eye specialist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Clean with plenty of water, soap or other suitable mild

contaminated protective clothing and other clothes.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink plenty of water. As a laxative, administer sodium
sulphate (1 dessert-spoon to 1 glass of water) with plenty
of activated charcoal. Seek medical advice or consult a
poison information centre.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Fine water spray, foam, dry extinguishing agent. The choice
depends on the extent of the fire and the local conditions.

Product arising from burning: CO2, CO, NOx, SOx, HCl

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Fire-protective clothing and respirator in dependence of the
fire extent and the local conditions.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Take up the dye solutions with absorbent binding agents and
fill it in labelled containers.

Avoid skin contact with the solution during this procedure.
Persons undertaking cleaning work must take the protection
measures mentioned in connection with handling.

Dispose of the waste containers in accordance with local
regulations e.g. by incineration.

Handling and storage

Handling: Take attention to the precautionary measures which are
common for the use of chemicals. For all operations by which
contact with skin or eyes is possible, the use of suitable

work clothing, rubber gloves and safety goggles is recom-
mended. Opening of the containers, the weighing out and
tempering of suspensions and solutions should happen
carefully to avoid spilling. Avoid skin contact with the
solution.

Technical precautionary measures: Ensure suitable implements
and sufficient ventilation( technical exhaust ventilation if
possible).

Storage: Store at room temperature. Keep storerooms according to the
