The determination or the water solubility was based on OECD Guideline No.105 "Water solubilityr (column elution method - f1ask method) (1981) and EEC Directive A.6 'Water solubility" (1964).

The water so1ubility of the tested substance was estimated te be 0.12 g/1 at 4 – 7°C, using the flask method.

Based on this result, the substance can be considered as moderatly soluble in water (100 -1000 mg/l).

The determination of the partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) was based on OECD Guideline no. 117: "Partition Coefficient (n-octanol/water) High Performance Liquid Chromatographic (HPLC) method" (1989). The corresponding Pow values were calculated to be 1.58x104 (log Pow = 4.2) for the major component and 2.00x104 (log Pow = 4.3), 3.16x104 (log Pow = 4.5), 5.01x104 (log Pow= 4.7) and 39.8x104 (log Pow = 5.6) for the impurities.
