First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove the person to fresh air. Give oxygen or artificial
respiration if needed. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush eye immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes.
Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush skin immediately with plenty of water. Seek medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, universal foam and water spray
may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may include oxides of nitrogen and
sulphur, and carbon dioxide.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Fire-fighters should wear air-supplied respirators.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Eliminate all ignition sources. Sweep up into containers
and seal. Dispose of material in accordance with government
requirements and ensure conformity to local disposal
regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling: The preparation containing the substance will only be used
in the industry by trained personnel. Exposure is minimal.
Inhalation and skin contact are avoided by the use of
impermeable protective gloves and dust masks. Dust-proof
filling apparatus and appropriate ventilation are also used.

Storage: The preparation containing the test substance should be kept
in securely closed unbreakable containers. Keep away from
foodstuffs and sources of ignition.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The preparation is packaged into either one gallon or one
quatro glass containers.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery for recycling is not possible

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Contaminated containers or spillages of the preparation
mixed with inert material (e.g. sand or soil) may be
disposed of at an authorised tip in accordance with local
regulations.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The preparation may be disposed of by burning under
controlled conditions at a licensed waste treatment
processor in accordance with local regulations. Stack gases
should be scrubbed as noxious fumes (e.g. carbon dioxide)
could be formed and flue gas scrubbing is recommended for
substances containing halogens, sulfur or nitrogen.
Incineration is the preferred method of disposal .

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: In the unlikely event that the preparation should enter the
water treatment system, contaminated waste water should be
treated by means of flocculation precipitation. The
precipitated material should then be incinerated.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.
