SUMMARY

The determination of the boiling point/boiling range of DC 5067 was based on EEC-Directive A.2 (1984) and on OECD Guideline no. 103 (1981); *Boiling Point/Boiling Range", using a melting point apparatus.

No changes of the test substance consistency were observed that might indicate decomposition, rearrangements and/or auto-oxidizing products of the test substance during the heating process. The boiling pointlboiling range of DC 5067 could not be determined upto 523 K (250°C), under the conditions of the test, using a melting point apparatus. The measurements were performed at atmospheric pressure. Based on the observations, it was concluded that the test substance has a boiling temperature >523 K (>250°C).

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test substance has a boiling temperature >523 K (>250°C).
Executive summary:

The determination of the boiling point/boiling range of DC 5067 was performed in duplicate, using a melting point apparatus. No changes of the test substance consistency were observed that might indicate decomposition, rearrangements and/or auto-oxidizing products of the test substance during the heating process. The test was performed at atmospheric pressure. Based on the observations, it was concluded that the test substance has a boiling temperature >523 K (>250°C).
