Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Melting / freezing point
Melting / freezing pt.:
56.8 °C

Any other information on results incl. tables

Study was performed without adjustment of atm. pressure.

Results:

Melting temperature (results of 1st heating cycles)

extrapol. onset temp.       Peak maximum 1)       Extrapol. end temp.

1st determination              56.9°C                                   59.2°C                           61.0°C

2nd determination             56.7 °C                                  59.4 °C                          61.3°C

mean                                   56.8 °C                                 59.3 °C                         61.2°C

1) with Seebeck correction

In the second heating cYcies no peak was obtained. Obviously no recrystallization took place.

Observed thermic processes:

In order to survey the thermic behavior of the test item a preIiminary test was run between 20°C and 400°C. Decomposition was observed at about 170°C resulting in an exothermic peak.

No other thermic process was observed.
