Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may include carbon and nitrogen oxides,
sulphur dioxide, some hydrogen chloride and soot. All
extinguishing agents are suitable.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Solutions: Contain leakage. Neutralise with alkali (eg
sodium carbonate) and collect with suitable equipment. If
necessary absorbants may be used (eg sawdust). Solids:
Sweep-up with care (substance corrosive) and recycle. Do
not allow unneutralised material into drains.

Handling and storage

Handling: The substance will be handled normally as an aqueous
solution as the solid material is unstable. The workplace
should be well ventilated. Avoid contact with skin and
eyes. Use a dust mask, gloves and eye protection.

Storage: Store away from light and only in closed containers
