First-aid measures
---
Inhalation
Remove from exposure to fresh air. Obtain medical attention.
Skin contact
Wash off immediatelym with soap and plenty of water removing all contaminated clothes and shoes.
Eye contact
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.
Ingestion
If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Rinse the mouth with water and call a physician.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
No specific symptoms and effects known. The substance is classified as harmful if swallowed.
Indication of immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treatment according to symptoms
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media
Water spray, foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, sand.
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons
For safety reasons do not use a high volume water jet.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
By heating or fire toxic gas is liberated, carbon oxides (CO/CO2), hydrofluoric acid (HF), sulphur oxides (SOx)
Advice for firefighters
Standard procedure for chemical fires. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.
Accidental release measures
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
Environmental precautions
Prevent product from entering drains. Should not be released into the environment.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up
Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid dust formation.
Reference to other sections
Information regarding personal protective equipment see Section Exposure controls/Personal protection.
Information regarding waste disposal see Section Disposal considerations.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
When using do not eat or drink. When using do not smoke. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Keep container tightly closed. Away from strong oxidizing agents, strong bases. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
