Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
In all cases remove contaminated clothing.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for 15 minutes.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting, wash out mouth with water, drink
plenty of water, Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Combustion products may contain carbon and nitrogen oxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be use
Accidental release measures
Place in a clean polyvinyl chloride or polyethylene
container for reuse or disposal by incineration. Flush area
witha large volume of water.
Aqueous solutions may cause floors to be slippery, absorb
with sand or earth or other inert material.
Handling and storage
avoided, wear neoprene gloves. Goggles should be worn and a
dust mask used if dust generation likely.
Storage: Store the powder in sealed polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene
or waterproof laminated sacks. Aqueous solutions should be
stored in polyvinyl chloride polyethylene, stainless steel
or bitumised tanks.
Store away from heat (the substance is stable at ambient
temperature, 15-25 deg C).
Aluminium, copper, copper alloys and nickel materials are
unsuitable for aqueous solutions of the substance.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Not given.
