Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air immediately.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately irrigate both eyes with copious amounts of water
(slightly warm, if available).
Be sure that the eyelids are kept open.
Medical attention must be given by the physicians as soon as
possible.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove from contaminated area of skin without spreading the
area. Then wipe with 3% of hydrogenperoxide aqueous
solution. Wash skin with water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Give 2 to 4 glasses of water immediately. Milk will do if
water is unavailable. (Caution: Never give anything by mouth
to an unconsious person.)
Induce vomiting immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Extinguishers for oil can be used.
Product arising from burning: SOx CO2 and H2O
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire fighters should wear full protective equipment,
including eye and skin protection and independent breathing
apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid contact with the substance. Flood contaminated area
with water. The waste water must be collected and disposed
of as chemical waste (incineration).
Handling and storage
Handling: Use protective equipment such as gloves, glasses, mask and
protective clothing.
Do not use without adequate ventilation.
Storage: Store in sealed containers in a dry and cool place.
Protect from direct sunlight and prevent contact with humid
air.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Steel can, steel drum 20 kg or 200 kg.
