Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove person into fresh air. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids widely.
If irritation persists continue flushing during transport to
hospital.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with
water and soap. Flush with water immediately. While
flushing, remove clothes which do not adhere to affected
area.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Obtain medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry powder, carbon dioxide, foam or water fog. If possible,
containers exposed to heat should be removed and cooled with
water.
Product arising from burning: Water, carbon dioxide and silica.

Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up and dispose of by incineration.
Avoid inhalation of powder of the product and contact with
skin and eyes.
Avoid release to the environment.
Remove with shovel and clean with wet cloth.
Handling and storage
Handling: Keep away from strong oxidisers. Observe good industrial
practice.
Avoid smoking and use of open flame.
Mechanical ventilation may be required.
Storage: Store in a tightly closed original container in a cool,
well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: MP polymer is packaged in 2, 4, 20 l steel paint cans and
200 l steel varnish drums.
