Description of key information
Due to lack of experimental data for the adsorption/desorption behaviour of SPS-100, an estimation for Koc based on log Kow data as described in the Technical Guidance Document on Risk Assessment (1996) was made using the equation for the chemical class hydrophobic (I). The calculated adsorption/desorption of SPS-100 was Log Koc>5.12.

Due to lack of experimental data for the adsorption/desorption behaviour of SPS-100, an estimation for Koc based on log Kow data as described in the Technical Guidance Document on Risk Assessment (1996) was made for SPS-100. The equation for the chemical class hydrophobic (I) was used as it was evaluated to best describe the interactions between hydrophobic chemicals and the soil organic carbon. The calculated adsorption/desorption of SPS-100 was Log Koc>5.12.
