Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A study on hydrolysis of the test substance was performed according to the OECD guideline no. 111 (RCC Ltd. 2002a). The solubility of the test substance in the buffer solutions pH 4.0, pH 7.0 and pH 9.0 was very low. The solubility of the test item could not be increased by the use of different solubilizers. According to the EEC Directive 92/69, Section C.7, the method is applicable only to water soluble substances. The test item shows no significant solubility in the different solvent systems. Therefore, no further testing could be performed with the test item at pH 4.0, pH 7.0 and pH 9.0.

Additionally, in Annex VIII of the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), it is suggested, that a study on the "Hydrolysis as function of pH" does not need to be conducted if the " Substance is highly insoluble in water or if the substance is readily biodegradable". Due to the low solubility of the test substance data on hydrolysis are not provided.
