Handling and storage
Handling: Der pulverförmige Stoff, der in Wasser und Fett praktisch
nicht löslich ist, kann nach inhalativer Aufnahme zu sog.
"Overload"-Phänomenen führen; daher sind alle
Arbeitsverfahren grundsätzlich so zu gestalten, dass die
Belastung durch Einatmen des Stoffes so gering wie möglich
ist. Der Haut- und Augenkontakt mit dem Stoff sollte
vermieden werden.
Bei Abfüll-, Umfüll- und Dosierarbeiten sowie beim Mischen
sollten nach Möglichkeit geschlossene bzw. zumindest
staubdichte Vorrichtungen verwendet werden. Beim Umgang in
offenen Systemen sollte möglicher Staub unmittelbar am
Enstehungsort abgesaugt werden.
Wenn technische Absaug- oder Lüftungsmaßnahmen nicht möglich
oder unzureichend sind, sollte Atemschutz (z.B.Staubmaske,
Filter mind. P2) getragen werden. Zur Vermeidung von
Hautkontakt wird das Tragen von geprüften Schutzhandschuhen
(z.B. Nitrilkautschuk, mind. 0,1 mm) und ggf. geeigneter
Schutzkleidung (z.B. Arbeitskleidung, ggf. beim Umgang mit
größeren Mengen Einwegvollschutzanzug; auf ableitfähiges
Schuhwerk achten) empfohlen sowie zur Vermeidung von
Augenkontakt das Tragen von Augenschutz (z.B. Schutzbrille).
Wegen der potentiellen Staubexplosionsgefahr sollten bei
möglicher Staubentwicklung potentielle Zündquellen aus dem
Arbeitsbereich entfernt werden. Des weiteren sollten
Maßnahmen gegen elektrostatische Aufladungen getroffen
werden.

The powdery substance, which is practically insoluble in
water and fat, can lead to so-called "overload" phenomena
after inhalative uptake. Consequently, all of the work
processes must always be designed so that exposure by
inhalation of the substance is as low as possible. Skin and
eye contact with the substance should be avoided.
As far as possible, closed or at least dustproof equipment
should be used during filling, transfer and metered feeding.
In the case of handling in open systems, any dust that may
form should be extracted directly at the point of origin.
Respiratory protection (e.g.:::) should be worn if technical
extraction or ventilation measures are not possible or are
insufficient. The wearing of tested protective gloves
(e.g.:::) and, if appropriate, suitable protective clothing
(e.g.:::) is recommended to avoid skin contact as is the
wearing of eye protection (e.g.:::) to avoid eye contact.
Due to the potential risk of a dust explosion, potential
ignition sources should be removed from the work area if
there is the possibility of the formation of dust. In
addition, measures should be taken to avoid static
discharge.
Storage: Nur in geschlossenen Behaeltern lagern.
