First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If signs of toxicity occur, seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate affected eye(s) with copious amounts of water for

at least 15 minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected skin with copious amounts of water for at

least 15 minutes.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Give plenty of cold water. Evoke vomiting if large amount is

ingested. If necessary, seek medical attention.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical and alcohol resistant foam.

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Use mask or air-purifying respirator to avoid inhalation of

the vapour.

Small spills may be soaked up with absorbent material and

scooped into drums. Large spills: prevent spilled liquid

from entering drains or sewers and pump into drums using

non-spark-generating pumps. Keep spilled materials away from

fire.

Handling and storage

Handling: Protective gloves should be worn along with safety glasses

or goggles. Respiratory protection (half mask respirator) or

local exhaust ventilation may be desirable.

Storage: Keep container closed. Store in a cool, dry place.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: One litre steel containers, packed in cardboard boxes.
