First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If rapid recovery does not occur, obtain

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water. If rapid recovery does not occur, obtain

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with water using

soap if available. If rapid recovery does not occur, obtain

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: DO NOT DELAY. Do not induce vomiting. Give water to drink,

providing patient is conscious. OBTAIN MEDICAL ATTENTION

IMMEDIATELY.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Alcohol-resistant foam, water spray or fog. Dry chemical

powder, carbon dioxide, sand or earth may be used for small

fires only.

Product arising from burning: Hazardous combustion products may include : hydrogen

chloride, oxides of nitrogen.

Protective equipment: Proper protective equipment including breathing apparatus

must be worn when approaching a fire in a confined space.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wear protective

clothing specified for normal operations.For personal

Environmental precautions: Prevent from entering into

drains, ditches or rivers. Inform the local authorities if

this cannot be prevented.

Methods for cleaning up: Transfer to a labelled, sealable

container for product recovery or safe disposal. Local

authorities should be advised if significant spillages

cannot be contained.

Waste from residues / unused products: Recover or recycle if

possible. Otherwise: incineration with wet

scrubbing facilities.

Contaminated packaging: Empty containers should be taken for

local recycling, recovery or waste disposal. Treat rinsings

as for product disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin, eyes and

clothing. Do not breathe dust.

Avoid temperatures above 150 °C.

Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Personal protection equipment

- Hand protection: PVC gloves / neoprene gloves / nitrile

rubber gloves.

- Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields.

- Skin and body protection: Chemical resistant apron.

Standard issue work clothes. Launder overalls and

undergarments regularly.

- Hygiene measures: Do not reuse soiled clothes / gloves.

Wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking and using the

toilet.

Storage: Do not store together with oxidizing agents.

Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated

place.

polypropylene bottles.
