Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove the person(s) from exposure and move to fresh air
immediately.
If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing
is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids.
Get medical aid.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes
while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical
aid. Remove contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Wash mouth out with water and drink
2-4 cups of water. Get medical aid.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Foam, carbon dioxide, sand or earth. Water only in the form
of spray.
Water can only be used in exceptional cases in the form of a
mist or spray.
Product arising from burning: Probable products of pyrolysis: carbon monoxide, carbon
dioxide, nitrogen oxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear breathing apparatus in fire.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Absorb spill with inert material (e.g. sand or earth), then
place in suitable disposal container. Provide sufficient
ventilation.
Avoid runoff into storm sewers and ditches which lead to
waterways.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Take precautionary
measures against static discharges. Observe rules for basic
principles of working hygiene. Use personal protective
equipment. When handling do not eat, drink and smoke.
Storage: Store material in a tightly closed containers separately
from source of ignition. Do not store in direct sunlight.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is packed in closed 60 litres volume iron
containers. The containers are closed with 2" closure on
the face of container. They are protected against vapours
release and contact with air and moisture.
