First-aid measures
DESCRIPTION OF FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation -
If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration and/or oxygen. Get medical advice.
Skin contact -
Remove contaminated clothing. Wash exposed skin with soap and water. Get medical advice.
Eye contact -
Wash with plenty of water, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Continue for at least 15 minutes. Get medical advice.
Ingestion -
If swallowed, wash out mouth with water. Give milk or water. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. Get medical advice.
INDICATION OF ANY IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION AND SPECIAL TREATMENT NEEDED
Treat symptomatically and supportively. May cause fever, gastrointesinal disturbance, nausea, vomiting.
Fire-fighting measures
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Suitable extinguishing media -
Use water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide as appropriate for surrounding fire and materials.
Unsuitable extinguishing media -
Do not use water jet.
SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE
In case of fire toxic fumes of carbon oxides (COx) may be emitted.
ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes. Prevent fire-extinguishing water from contaminating the watercourses.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
If the product is released or spilt, take proper precautions by using appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing (see section Exposure controls / Personal protection).
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not let the substance enter into drains.
METHODS AND MATERIAL FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP
Soak up with inert absorbent material and place in suitable container for disposal . Dispose in accordance with regulations.
Handling and storage
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING
Avoid vapor or mist inhalation.
CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE, INCLUDING ANY INCOMPATIBILITES
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Keep away from sources of ignition.

Exposure controls / personal protection
CONTROL PARAMETERS
To the best of our knowledge, estabilshed occupational exposure limit value is not available for this substance.
Handling is done under strictly controlled conditions.
EXPOSURE CONTROL
Appropriate engineering controls -
Use appropriate controls (e.g. containment) as specified in a workplace risk assessment. Technical measures and appropriate operations should be given priority over the use of personal protective equipment. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Personal protective equipment -
Eye face protection - Wear safety glasses with side shields. An emergency eyewash station should be available.
Skin protection - Handle with gloves. The selected gloves must comply with the specifications in EC Directive 89/686/EEC and the related standard EN374 or applicable federal, state and national legislation.
Protective clothing - The type should be selected accordning to concentrations, quantities and duration of handling at the specific workplace.
Respiratory protection - If risk for exposure wear full mask with breathing filter. In laboratories, use fume hood or laminar flow booth.
Environmental exposure controls - Do not release into drains or watercourses.
Stability and reactivity
REACTIVITY
No known reactivity hazards under normal condtions.
CHEMICAL STABILITY
Stable under normal conditions.
POSSIBILITY OF HAZARDOUS REACTIONS AND CONDITIONS TO AVOID
No known hazardous reactions when stored and handled as indicated.
INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS
Strong oxidizing agents, acids.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSTION PRODUCTS
None known.
Disposal considerations
WASTE TREATMENT METHODS
Dispose waste at authorized plant, in accordance with Directive 2008/98/EC and/or applicable federal, state, national or local legislation.
