Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 10 minutes. Seek medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with plenty of water. If irritation
develops, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2 may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and
nitrogen together with some soot.

Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and full personal
protective equipment must be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Isolate spillage. Full personal protective clothing should
be worn (see 2.3.1). Sweep up spill or use industrial vacuum
fitted with suitable dust filtration system. Transfer to
suitably labelled containers and dispose of in accordance
with local regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid dust formation. Gloves, goggles, dust mask and full
personal protective equipment should be fitted.
Storage: Store in tightly sealed containers in a cool dry place.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 25 kg fibre-board polythene lined drum.
