Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
170.5 °C

Additional information

Two GLP studies were conducted according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Annex A.9, using th e Pansky-Martens -Apparatus with a closed cup.
The GLP study done in 1994 determined the flash point to be 157 °C at 1013.25 hPa using the technical grade active ingredient. The GLP study done in 2021 determined the flash point to be 170.5 °C at 1013.25 hPa using the pure active ingredient.

With a determined flash point of 157 °C or 170.5 °C the substance does not met the classification criteria for flammable liquids ( no Catagory of EU Directive 67/548/EEC: flash point > 55 °C; no Category of EU CLP: flash point > 60 °C). The substance is considered to be a hardly combustible liquid.
