Endpoint:
toxicity to non-target arthropods on natural substrate (NTA other than pollinators)
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
a short-term study does not need to be conducted because an appropriate long-term toxicity study on terrestrial organisms is available
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING

According to REACH guidance document R7c the test substance is assigned to soil hazard category 3. The substance is suggested potentially persistant in soil and is not classified very toxic to aquatic organisms.

Moreover, already long term studies are available on three throphic levels (earthworms, plants, micro-organisms):
- OECD 216 : Nitrogen Transformation in Soil
- OECD 217 : Carbon Transformation in Soil
- OECD 208 : Seedling Emergence and Seedling Growth Test (including six species)
- OECD 222 : Reproduction and Growth of the Earthworm Eisenia fetida

Therefore, no further soil toxicity study is necessary.
