Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse eyes with eyelids held open with plenty of water, if
necessary seek advice of an occulist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off with plenty of water and soap, if necessary take a
shower.
Remove contaminated clothing.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Let affected person drink plenty of water. If the affected
person feels unwell seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
the local circumstances and the fire extension.
Product arising from burning: CO/CO2, NOx, SOx, HCl.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Protective clothing and breathing appartus, depending on the
fire extension and the local circumstances.
Accidental release measures
containers. If possible use permitted industrial vacuum
cleaner. Avoid the inhalation of the dust and skin contact.
Obey to the recommendations described in 2.3.1. Discharge
the waste material according to local and administrative
regulations, e.g. by incineration.
Handling and storage
chemicals.
When handling the substance use appropriate working clothes,
rubber gloves and goggles.
Avoid dust formation during filling/refilling processes.
Avoid inhalation of the dusts (exhaust systems or dust masks
(P2, eg 3M-Vliesmaske).
The substance will be marketed in form of dust poor
preparations.
Keep away from food stuff, drinks and tobacco.
Storage: Store dry in tightly closed containers at room temperature.
Provide for good hygiene in the store houses. Reclose opened
containers tightly and avoid product residues on the
containers.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: no reaction.
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: If the substance is used as intended no hazards are to be
expected.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: In landfill isolated against ... . Local and administrative
regulations have to be respected.
( 650 ) Removal by controlled dumping at a licensed
landfill.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The incineration of the dry pigments is possible in an
incineration plant with flue gas scrubber.
( 664 ) Incinerate in halogene specified incinerator.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance is not readily biodegrabdable. However the
rest pigment contents can be removed by flocolation or
adsorbtion on the sludge in biological waste water
purification plants.
( 641 ) Removal by discharge to a waste water treatment
plant
When the substance is used as pigment in polymers no waste
waters will be produced.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: not applicable. The substance as such is not available for
the public at large.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The small amounts of the pigment used in polymers can be
discharged by incineration.
