Description of key information

The vapour pressure of teflubenzuron at 20°C was calculated to be 9.16 x 10-7 Pa.

The Henry's law constant of teflubenzuron was calculated to be 6.98 x 10-3 Pa m3/mol at 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
0.007
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

One study on the determination on vapour pressure and Henry's law constant is availble.

Batelle (2005): Determination of vapour pressure and Henry’s law constant of Teflubenzuron (BAS 309 I). DocID according to Draft Assessment Report prepared in compliance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009: 2005/1007421; crossreference to Draft Assessment Report according to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009: B.2.1.5.

This guideline compliant final report accounts the results of vapour pressure and Henry's law constant of teflubenzuron. The vapour pressure of teflubenzuron was determined according to EEC A4. Vapour pressure of teflubenzuron was determined experimentally at 30, 40 and 50°C and the value at 20°C was extrapolated. The vapour pressure of teflubenzuron at 20°C was calculated to be 9.16 x 10-7 Pa.

The Henry's law constant of teflubenzuron was calculated to be 6.98 x 10-3 Pa m3/mol at 20°C.
