First-aid measures
- General advice:
Avoid repeated exposure especially for those people who have suffered from sensitization effects to this kind of substance and/or persons who are sensitive to chemicals.
- Following inhalation:
Call a poison centre or doctor if you feel unwell.
- Following skin contact:
Wash with plenty of soap and water. If irritation occurs get medical advice/attention.
- Following eye contact:
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. If eye irritation persists get medical advice/attention.
- Following ingestion:
Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
- Most important symptoms and effects: Skin irritation and serious eye damage. In case the product is ingested and entered into the airway, there may be a hazard causing chemical pneumonia.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media:
Dry chemical powder, bubble extinguisher and carbon dioxide.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media:
No information.
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: The product is a flammable liquid. Toxic and irritating vapours and/or gases may generate by thermal decomposition or combustion.
- Advice for fire fighter: Move container to a safe area. Fire fighters should wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Non-responsible personnel should escape from the fire site.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions: Remove ignition sources and provide sufficient ventilation to control exposure. Take action from wind. In case of emergency, contact responsible personnel and consult an expert. Evacuate non-responsible personnel from spilled area.
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Wear appropriate protective equipment and collect spilled product by suitable equipment.
- Environmental precautions:
Do not dump into the environment.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb spilled product with inert material (e.g., paper or dry sand), followed by placing it in a waste container until disposal. Provide sufficient ventilation to keep air concentration as low as possible.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling:
keep out of reach of children. Wash contaminated work clothing before reuse. Do not eat or drink when handling. No smoking. Avoid disposal of and/or spill the product into sewer and/or drain.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store container tightly closed in well-ventilated place. Keep away from hot surfaces, open flame, direct sunlight and strong oxidiser.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures: Handle the product only under conditions where sufficient ventilation is provided and/or in a closed system
2. Organisational protection measures: Avoid accumulation of vapours by providing adequate ventilation during and after use.
3. Hand protection: Wash hands.
4. Feet protection: wsah contaminated feet, footwear after use.
5. Body protection: Wash contaminated body area, work clothing after use.
6. Eye protection: If there is a risk of accumulation of vapours, mist splash, wear safety glasses as appropriate.
7. Respiratory protection: In case vapour accumulates, provide ventilation and/or wear respiratory protection as appropriate.
Stability and reactivity
1. Reactivity
: The product is considered non-reactive under normal and anticipated storage and handling conditions. When heated, the product may be transformed to corresponding amide and ester compounds.
2. Chemical stability
: The product is chemicallly stable under normal conditions.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions
: Excess heating or under high temperature may result in yielding flammable, toxic and/or irritating vapours or gases in addition to carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and NOx.
4. Conditions to avoid
: Excess heating, contact with combustion sources, mixing/storage of incompatible materials.
5. Incompatible materials
: No information
6. Hazardous decomposition products: Toxic gases and fume such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and NOx, etc.
Disposal considerations
Remaining product and its containers should be disposed of in accordance with local/regional regulations, such as burned with a well controlled incinerator. Do not dump into sewers, on the ground or into any body of water. Ensure to dispose of the product in compliance with government requirements and conformity to local disposal considerations.
