Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
gas saturation method
Key result
Temp.:
20 °C
Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
Remarks on result:
other: Average of three sampling time-points

Headspace samples were sampled after 24 h, 30 h, 48 h, 51 h and 54 h. The samples 24h (~0.000022 g/m3) and 30 h (~0.000034 g/m3) were found not to be at saturation yet.

The headspace vapour concentration of GR-87-7596 reached saturation after an equilibration time of 48 h. The results of the samples drawn after 48h, 51h and 54 h are exposed in the table below:

Equilibration time (h)   Headspace concentration (g/m3)
 48  0.000038
 51  0.000038
 54  0.000037
 Average  0.00004
Conclusions:
The vapour pressure at 20°C was calculated from the average headspace concentrations at saturation using equation.

The result was 0.0003 Pa.

Therefore:

Vapour pressure of GR-87-7596: 0.0003 Pa at 20°C
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the test material GR-87-7596 has been determined to be 0.0003 Pa at 20°C using the Gas saturation method according to OECD Guideline No. 104.

Therefore:

Vapour pressure of GR-87-7596: 0.0003 Pa at 20°C
