Workers - Hazard for the eyes

Additional information - workers

Triisopropylsilyl acrylate is classified has skin irritant and skin sensitiser but not classified for its acute/long-term toxicity under EU classification system (Council Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008). Due to the lack of dose-response information and the use pattern of the substance, only DNELs for long-term systemic effects are submitted for both dermal and inhalation for workers.

General Population - Hazard for the eyes

Additional information - General Population

The substance is polymerised and the polymer is used as part of the material to manufacture marine paint as a final product. As the final products are for industrial use only, general population will not be exposed to the neat substance. Therefore the calculation of DNELs for the general population is not applicable for this submission.
