Description of key information
The substance Reaction mass of 2-(palmitoylamino)ethyl acrylate and 2-(stearoylamino)ethyl acrylatel has been determined to be not highly flammable as it failed to ignite in the preliminary screening test during the 2 minutes. The test was performed according to a procedure designed to be compatible with 《The Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals Physical-Chemical Properties and Physical Hazards》 (Ed.2)1G07 Flammability of solids (China Environmental Science Press).
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Flammability:
- not classified
Additional information
Justification for classification or non-classification
Based on the available information, the substance does not need to be classified for flammability in accordance with the criteria outlined in Annex I of the CLP Regulation (1272/2008/EC).
