Results and discussion

Test results (Oxidising liquids)
Key result
Parameter:
preliminary test
Remarks on result:
other: not oxidising

Any other information on results incl. tables

The criterion related to the oxidising properties is based on the oxygen balance. Results obtained for d-trans Allethrin 75/25 give:

Oxygen balance (BOX) -253,947 g O2/100g Low hazard

Total number of peroxide bonds 0,000

A compound with exactly the amount of oxygen required for total combustion would have an oxygen balance of 100%. Thus, a compound with a negative balance is oxygen deficient.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
It can be concluded that d-trans Allethrin 75/25 does not exhibit significant oxidising properties.
Executive summary:

Explosive and oxidising properties of d-trans Allethrin 75/25 were estimated through the Benson’s method of group additivity with the software CHETAH 8.0 (ASTM 2005).

The calculations allowed concluding that d-trans Allethrin 75/25 does not exhibit explosive or oxidising properties.
