Administrative data
First-aid measures
- General advice: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely.
- Following inhalation: When dust is intensively inhaled, seek medical help immediately.
- Following skin contact: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with plenty of water.
- Following eye contact: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Following ingestion: When swallowed seek medical aid immediately and show the physician the packaging or the label of the packaging.

Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: All means (e.g. water, carbon dioxide, dry chemical extinguisher)
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Strong water jet
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Supposed thermal decomposition/oxidation to carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen chloride (HCl), and sulphurous oxides (SOx)
- Advice for fire fighter: Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Fire residues and contaminated water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.

Work in a defined area with restricted access recommended. Take precautionary measures against electrostatic loading. Render equipment and apparatus inert (nitrogen, inert gases) and earth before putting into operation. Avoid formation of dust. Observe the general rules of industrial fire protection.

Disposal considerations
Product: In accordance with regulations for special waste, must be taken to an authorised special waste incineration plant. Harmful emissions must be removed by flue gas scrubbing.
Uncleaned empty packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste.
