Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Name:
SINODOR CQ
Type of composition:
legal entity composition of the substance
State / form:
liquid
Related composition:
SINODOR CQ
Reference substance:
SINODOR CQ
Reference substance:
SINODOR CQ
Reference substance:
SINODOR CQ
PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

PERSISTENCY :

SINODOR CQ is NOT persistent. The test item was observed to be READILY Biodegradable in an OECD 301F ready Biodegradation study undergoing 80% biodegradation after 28 days in the test conditions. The 10-day window criterion was also fulfilled (14% biodegradation on day 4 and 65% on day 14).

Based on Persistency alone, it can, therefore, be stipulated that SINODOR CQ is neither P B T nor vP vB.

BIOACCUMULATION :

The LogPow of the main peak of SINODOR CQ is 6.0. In the absence of a higher-tier assessment (e.g. OECD 305), the screening criteria would identify SINODOR CQ as a potential B / vB.

TOXICITY :

Three trophic levels of freshwater species have been tested for short-term acute toxicity. None of the EC/LC50 values determined were < or = 0.01 mg/L.

Long-term toxicity end-points exist for three trophic levels of freshwater species :

- Algae (P. subcapitata) : ErC10 = 0.028 mg/L

- Freshwater Invertebrate (C. dubia) : NOEC = 0.1 mg/L

- Freshwater Fish. (P. promelas) : NOEC > = 0.79 mg/L

All EC10 / NOEC values are > 0.01 mg/L.

Likely routes of exposure:

Theoretically, SINODOR CQ may find its way in to the environment via wide-dispersive down-the-drain use.
