- Details on test solutions:
- Since the substance is insoluble in water, Water Accommodated Fractions (WAFs) were prepared at each concentration tested.
WAFs were prepared at concentrations of 1, 10, and 100 mg/L in loading rate to observe the acute ecotoxic impacts at these levels corresponding to the thresholds of the CLP regulation (1272/2008/EC).
The suspensions were weighed and transferred to a volume of mineral medium and then extracted by orbital agitation for 24 hours followed by filtration at 0.45 μm.
