Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key result
Type:
bulk density
Density:
1.59 g/cm³
Temp.:
20 °C
Conclusions:
The density of the substance was determined to be 1.59 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.
Executive summary:

The density of the substance was determined under GLP in accordance with OECD TG 103. The density was determined with a pycnometer, using aliquots of purified water and test substance that were equilibrated at 20 ± 0.5 °C. The pycnometer was cleaned and dried to constant weight, then filled with equilibrated purified water and re-weighed. It was emptied and dried, then filled with equilibrated test substance and re-weighed. Two determinations gave a density of the test substance of 1.59 g/cm3 at 20 ± 0.5 °C.
